Payment options, lay-by terms, shipping, returns and damage claims — everything you need to know once you click order.

Payment Options

We offer three ways to pay when ordering online:

EFT. Direct bank transfer to our FNB account. Banking details are sent automatically with your order confirmation.

PayFast. Secure online card and instant EFT payments at checkout.

Lay-by. Pay over time — see lay-by terms below.

Your order is only processed once payment clears.

Lay-by Terms

A 50% deposit confirms your order and we begin production. The balance is paid off over 1–3 months via EFT.

Your order is dispatched only once full and final payment is received. Lay-by orders are non-cancellable.

Delivery

We deliver across South Africa using a combination of couriers and shipment partners, with the choice based on item size and your location. Shipping is not included in our manufacturing lead times — for those, please see our production page.

Outside Cape Town. Our shipment partners typically take 4–8 working days to deliver, depending on size and area. You won’t be able to live-track the order but you’ll receive a delivery due date by email, and the shipment company will message you directly before delivery. Shipment partners place items inside your home or business on the first floor; they do not install furniture. If you’re in an apartment building, please let us know ahead of time.

Cape Town. Local deliveries take 2–4 working days and are area-dependent. We have our own delivery and installation teams in Cape Town. Local installation is arranged on a per-order basis.

Collection. Workshop collection from Stikland is available by appointment. Please message us before you head out so we can have your order ready. Check that the box size will fit in your vehicle before collecting.

Pricing. Delivery is calculated automatically at checkout based on your address — add your pieces to the basket to see the cost. Standard delivery ranges from R100–R1,250 depending on size and distance; custom and bulky items may carry a higher cost.

Damages, Cancellations & Refunds

Damage on arrival. If your piece arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and a brief description. All damage claims are subject to pre-approval and assessed case by case. We will replace, repair or refund depending on the damage.

Returns. Products being returned must be in their original condition — unassembled, unused and in their original packaging. All returns are subject to pre-approval.

Cancellations and exchanges. You may return your order within 7 days of receipt. We will refund in full within 14 days, less the round-trip transport costs (which may differ from your original delivery invoice). Custom and lay-by orders are non-cancellable.
